Derek, If you knew anything at all about climate science, you would understand that global warming and a possible ice age are not contradictory. It is possible that an increase in ocean temperatures could trigger such huge snowfalls in Canada and Siberia that they wouldn't melt in the Summer. That is not to say that it will happen. We just don't know. What we are certain of is that the CO2 levels are the highest in thousands of years, and Dubya wants to add more in contradiction to his pledge during the campaign, I presume with you cheerleading behind him. What is really silly is spending a trillion on an unlikely ICBM threat. What would show leadership would be taking action on the PROBABLE global warming threat.

The fact is that I have read both viewpoints extensively on global warming, and I will still side with the majority of scientists that say it is a problem.
