We are a speck that will destroy ourselves. Meteors did it to dinosaurs, we'll do it to ourselves

Its definitely our fault that we're not protecting ourselves

As for life,on earth and the universe, it will do fine w/o us.

It certainly is our fault, and our responsibility to clean up our act.

We are a speck, that's true. The earth doesn't care if we disrupt the system, it will adapt and evolve. we may just not be a part of the equation anymore.

We are making huge changes in the atmosphere, on the land and in the water. Plant and animal life is going extinct at an ever increasing rate, and that is due to us...and there will be consequences. there is a cause and effect relationship.

We have the ability to make changes, and clean up our act.....and we had better get after it. I don't think it is impossible to do the right thing and have a good economy also. Change is good.

incredibly naive point of view
human growth has changed CO2 levels substantially
industrial usage has magnified those heightened CO2 levels
our influence on ecosystems is monumental
our influence on global warming is without dispute
our influence on reduced supply and quality of water is certain
our influence of world weather is only recently becoming clear

in every biological system, every ecological system, every equilibrium system, every earth sytem...
the human influence is profound and irreversible

more CO2, then warmer temperatures, then more atmospheric moisture, then more rain, more floods, more drought

where do you get your news?
you cannot look at the world in geological time
we may be a speck in evolution, but we are the biggest speck that ever walked this earth
