I bought JDSU this morning at $12.15. I also bought Mexico's 800-pound Gorilla Telmex (TMX) as a long term buy and hold. Why? because its a quasi-monoply like MicroSoft and that's not going to change anytime soon. Btw I really like Celestica (CLS)right now. Sales of the former IBM spin off balloned 84%, to $9.2 billion,profits grew 147% to $305 million...and they think they can grow sales to $20 billion by 2003-downturn or no. I also like Flex,another contract manufacturer, but that's currently trading under what I paid for it.
