Well, with 20 countries lining up at the doors of the Union we don't have to bother much for the time being. LOL.
Agree with you on pension plans and social benefits. Last years reconstruction of the UK economy was an example.
And we don't need migrants as these are becoming Europeans.

France is the other extreme: gov. agents indeed only contribute 10% to their pension, and as they are in the Eurozone, they cant print money. Big sh...eet. They indeed have to find other ways.

The more the Union is to expand, the quicker solutions will have to be found. Wait and see...
I am conident.
Anyway, world's economy is changing at a faster pace and developped countries need new and longer term policies than a politician's "between-the-polls" time-frame.
Something must happen.
