Haim:

Lots of discussion these days about the merits of a strong dollar policy. But by traditional standards the US is following a weak dollar policy. Huge balance of payments deficits. Plunging short-term rates. A massively leverged economy heading for recession.

The US strong dollar policy apparently consists of little more than saying we are in favor of a strong dollar and working to keep gold down. Saying it apparently makes it so at least for now. But just as with the now burst NAZ bubble -- when the trend finally reverses people will be amazed at how low the buck goes.

Haim, same with the bond options...the underlying amount is also quite large ($100,000).

on the weekly chart, a Euro double bottom suggests itself actually....
