<<You are wrong on the dollar. The high dollar is a key factor behind US corporate earnings problems. US industry is begging for a weaker dollar. It is the financial sector that is benefitting from the strong buck.>>

I really do hope I'm wrong. But once the dollar starts its decline I can see East Europeans and rest of the world dumping dollar faster than administration can raise the rates to prevent it. Please to remember, most of the accounts in Swiss banks are held in US$. Weak dollar will mean beginning of hyperinlation and US CANNOT afford 20% interest rates like they did in 1980. IMHO.

George Asia is asking for a strong dollar the stronger the dollar the more we can purchase and expand there. Japan is really in a tight spot with China's entry into the WTO and a currency that has out priced its value growth.
Msft in China is not doing so well called piracy which i guess was a way of life so one could live like the new pilfering of electricity here.
Cost of development is high and reproduction cheap so you have a constant threat to your bottom line other than better product.
You are right about the financing sector as our market looks to the world twenty four hour trades are next and one can go to sleep at one price and wake up to the shock of their life either pro or con.
We better be darn careful we ring the bells of freedom in our favor as a long time ago there were lords and surfs.
