From Briefing

SanDisk Corp (SNDK) 23.49 +1.24: Thomas Weisel initiates coverage with a BUY rating and price target of $30; believe that SNDK is a play on the highest growth semiconductor endmarkets; despite the current downturn within the industry, firm maintains that demand for new communications, multimedia and consumer ICs will likely resume in late 2H01 into CY02; believes SNDK will outgrow the overall semiconductor industry as flash storage card end markets continue to grow and increase memory per device; multiple product expansion and increased technological prowess will likely extend SNDKs lead within this market.

Aus,

Just curious. Is there an effective limit on the pixel/resolution from digital cameras? And at what point does digital pass emulsion as far as resolution?

It seems the pixel count is increasing about 30-35% a year, that would put us at ~9 megapixel in three years. Need some pretty dense flash cards at that point.
