I'm not sure that I follow what you're saying. I wasn't referring to the volume, but to complacency, based on volatility indexes. As you know, the volatility indexes are based on the implied volatility of put and call options.

The divergence between the direction of the market this past week and the direction of the volatility indexes has been revealing. The volatility indexes show that expectations are not very bullish, despite the market's attempts to rally.

The lack of volume is another sign that the rally may not have legs.

What legs it had appear to be giving out right now (3:07).
