Art, I had not considered T as a seller.

I thought T got shares with extra votes. Selling them quickly on the open market would be an odd thing to do, rather than try to sell control to someone else, perhaps including IDT.

Anyone know if this theory could make any sense? Given how many shares T owns, they could not sell them all without making it a penny stock. I would not take this seriously without proof.

Given the buying price, I could see them selling some to lock in a tax loss during this quarter. Mutual funds may want out for window dressing.

This is part of the curse of having institutions or other large investors. They can be great when buying but murder when selling.
