The latest offers for Lucent Technologies Inc.'s fiber-optic cable unit are coming in at $3 billion to $3.5 billion....Other potential buyers include French telecom gear maker Alcatel... Steve or ZO- Can you help me out. Don't I recall ALA wanting to sell their optical cable business about six months ago? Or was that strictly power cable business? And/or isn't ALA already involved in fiber optic cable manufacturing business? Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
