What amazes me is the fact that the company is now worth less than when I came in in the summer of '98. The shares outstanding has increased dramatically but so has their cash position so that the market now deems the technology to be worth less. Makes no sense to me given all of the partnerships, the purchases of Intellocity and Bottlerocket, and all the progress made towards the digital future. Someday all of this will pay off big. To quote Tom Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part."

Another roll out that we have a financial interest in is the ICTV contract with Charter Communications to deploy broadband services to 72,000 cable customers in Kalamazoo MI in the fall of this year, and then to all of the Charter Cable subscribers in the Kalamazoo system.

Most of us understand that the roll out of US broadband has effectively been sabotaged by the various baby bells and political interests. Excellent articles appeared on this topic in Thursday's WSJ (on file at Agora/ACTV forum) and in last months Wired magazine. This destroyed many upstart competitors and also helped crash the NASDAQ.

So my total now goes to five US cities plus one international city involving 35,000 (AT&T in Colorado), 250,000 with Millennium Cable in various locations, 72,000 in Michigan with Charter and say +30,000 overseas for a total of appox +387,000 subscribers. Share price will recover as the number of trials and roll outs grow from this base.
