It is more of a valuation question. And "creative accounting" makes matters worse, not better. Add "competition" and "excess capacity" to the mix, and you have the perfect recipe for a disaster.

Also the hottest sectors of the market are prone to be the ones where excesses are more likely to happen than the more sedate and sober sectors.
