Rich just getting back from a trip. I agree with you that we should do our best not to pollute and be in harmony as far as possible with nature. The balance is delicate. However would the greenies have us go back to women dying at childbirth? We can look at those countries that live primitively and see that technology has enabled us to live longer. The life span for man has increased with technology not diminished. The environmental movement should educate and inform not dictate and coerce. I reject their new religion and as my article points out they are not the ultimate authority on the issue. It was just two decades ago they were screaming an ice age was coming, so we can see that their grasp of science is not something to base our future progress on. I personally see the green movement as a new ecclesiastic that is bent on power and control. Indeed many of the original members of the green movement have also issued this warning. . I resent them shoving their religion down my throat although I am in favour of many of their ideas.
Not an easy issue as we see.
