Stealth Bob Weir/Phil Lesh Show to be Broadcast Tonight
jambands.com
Last week’s unannounced show featuring Bob Weir and Phil Lesh will be broadcast tonight on radio program "The Music Never Stops." The performance took place June 10 at Sweetwater Saloon in Mill Valley, CA and was billed as “Crusader Rabbit.” It was the first time Weir and Lesh played together on the same stage in more than two years. The rest of the line-up included Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco, John Molo and Warren Haynes, who arrived in time for the encores.
“The Music Never Stops,” which won last year’s Jammy Award for Best Radio Show, is hosted by Barry Smolin and is broadcast from 8 p.m. – 12 midnight PST on KPFK FM in Los Angeles, CA. It can also be heard on the web at kpfk.org.
