Rich, Good for you. It is an impressive acheivement to quit cold turkey. It means you are/will be a successful executive.

Have frequent follow ups of your lungs. A friend of mine quit like you. Sad to say the damage had been done and 10 years after that he was diagnosed with lung cancer, and soon passed away. same thing got my father at 73.

And still the cigarette companies say "who, me?"

Congratulations on kicking the habit. I don't think it is ever easy. On the other hand some ex-smokers become the most fervent anti-smokers. I agree with you on the young taking up the habit. However, when I look at them I see how history keeps repeating itself.
