TE, You are off base about Florida. I live there and the Republicans were not the ones guilty of chicanery. It is the Demo/libs that tried to use every underhanded trick in the book to steal the election. They almost got away with it but reason prevailed. If you want to believe the charges of Jesse Jackson, Al Gore, and Al Sharpton, that is your privilege, but removes you from the thinking portion of society. I said nothing about personal information that you would not even reveal to your close friends. That is your addition to anything I said, in an attempt to corrupt what I said. I never imply anything, including that corporations are beneficent. They are in business to sell product. There is nothing evil in that. It is still true that if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. The fact that we have had as much, or more, Republican government is the reason,IMO, that we are not already a Socialistic state. The election in Florida was not corrupted by the Republican administration in Tallahassee. The only real problem in the election was the fact that too many people were too stupid to understand the butterfly ballot. That ballot was designed by a Democrat, and approved by the Gore campaign committee. There is as much evidence that Democrat leaning election officials deliberately repunched ballots for Bush, so that they would be thrown out because of double punching. I don't see anyone demanding the purging of data bases. Why don't you do it since it strikes such fear in your heart. Those data bases, for the most part, have been assembled by the FBI, CIA, and other clandestine security operations under the administrations of both Democrats, and Republicans. If you don't like the information gathering, you cannot blame it on any one political party, so don't try to make it a Republican issue. That dog won't hunt. In the future, don't add your own words to mine to skew what was said, and do not attempt to read my mind to indicate that I have implied something I did not. Your synapsis's(sp?) may suffer a short circuit.
