Not familiar with Brown and Co. I think that there are some on the thread who use them though.

I am taking "aciphex" for my belly right now. That is the real reason I have cut back on my really spicey stuff.

The wife has me hooked on Tapitio(but I refuse to try it on my corn on the cob). She has convinced me that it's not all about heat but flavor too. But I have heard of this one called Stupid Hot. you might want to give that one a shot<GGG>

About Brown...

I have two accounts with brownco, But use watley for my daytrading.

I now only use brown mostly for positions I plan on holding for at least a day or more. The reason they are only $10/trade is because they route their orders to whom ever they want and usually get kick backs from such MMs(usually knight(nite), Herzog(HRZG) or next trade(NXTR).

On a whole, they aren't too bad right now. In the beginning, they were good. Than for a while they sucked real bad(and I believe to this day that they lost money of mine so I pulled most my money out of them, but that was an isolated incident). And with in the last six months to a year they have been improving(quicker confirmations etc). At least no outages during market hours recently. That is the biggest killer if you try to use them to day trade.

You can go read their thread #subject-19560 and chronical when things were good then went bad, and now since there aren't many posts over there recently, that's a good indication of how their performance has been. IE: People over there usually only post when there are problems. Lack of posts indicates no major problems lately.

Hope this helps.

P.S> Ironically, I just tried to login and they are temporarely down!!!!! LOL. It's probably maintance, but the first time I've encountered it in a long while. I'll let you know if it's not up by Monday morning.

Oh, BTW, another short coming of them is that they don't have premarket or post market trading. I asked a rep there a few months ago when they would be making it available. He told me not to hold my breath. While it has been discussed, there are no plans to do so as of yet.
