How you been " hitten 'em" recently?

Investments are going well. I am currently long HM DAY CMRC EPAY(though getting twitchy on the last two); I have gold bullion, and am short PHM. One day I will be long CKFR again when the time or price are right.

I am a trader for the most part for the last three years. The last 1 1/2 years I have been shorting stocks. There are a lot of them out there that are still absurdly over valued. If you had taken the time to read any of my posts, you would have easily known that. I am the thread pessimist over there. The bulls keep me in check and I keep them in check. It is a good balance for me, and I have benefitted enoumously from "my group" of friends.

How are you doing during this correction? Have you stayed current on your DD of EPAY? I admit I haven't. I am just position trading this one. I don't think they will go out of business, and I think if the price stays as repressed as it is, I believe someone will buy them out.

BTW, can you recall how much of Princeton Ecom they own? Is it over 10%? FWIW, Princeton is the most formitable competitoon CKFR has, and I know a lot of people who have been waiting for their IPO- must be over a year now since they first mentioned bringing it public. However, I do not thing they will ever dethrown CKFR as top dog. But will likely get a piece of the action. I like to pay attention to all the players in the EBPP field

That being said, technically, I see the COMP having a difficult time breaking over 2400. Everyone is confident we have formed a base here at 2000. I am not of that camp. I think we will fall(maybe as soon as next week) through 2000 like a hot knife through butter.

Some people are still arguing that we are not in a recession. I am already entertaining the possibility of a depression lasting a good ten years with no recovery for perhaps fifteen years. I'm talking some heavy sheet I know, but it is a distinct possibility. There still seems to be no end to consumer spending which is the only thing keeping this economy afloat. Did you know the average household is carrying about $8,000 in monthly balances with the CC companies? We are not saving. In fact, while this is arguable, we are spending more than we make as a whole. Reference this article posted by Jay Chen #reply-15984665

And FTR, here is my prediction for the COMP this year, posted in december of last year #reply-15098906. Well, it looks like I will miss the highs. I thought 2800 would carry us further. I may also miss the yearly close if my 1450 prints.

So what do you think will happen Monday? Is the Dow ready for another leg down? How about the NYSE or the S&P? Do you think the 1600 lows will hold up?

>>The difference is this: The words I used without attribution were in a message to you taken from your own bio. page links. I assumed you would recognise them.<<<

I did recognize them. And it was an attempt of plagiarism on your part. Period!

<<The biggest difference however is that I did not attempt to use the words I quoted in an effort to promote religious bigotry or other attempt to hit below the belt.>>

You plagiarised. period. You, who accused me of the same thing, which I did not.

<<Your reference to medication? Another attempted low blow.>>

Guilty as charged. I have no idea if you are on anti psychotic drugs or not, just an assumption, and uncalled for. I apologize.

<<Different URLs proves nothing. The fact that you are on a first name basis with the SI complaint guy?>>

Yes, I am on a first name basis with Jeff. For no other reason than that is his alias Member 7983633

<<You have the power to report me again for something>>>

I have not said one word to Jeff about you. I have no reason to do so. You have not violated any SI TOU. You however made the first threads to me #reply-15985272

<<As far as a legal action goes sometimes the only winners are lawyers>>

I really have no idea what you are talking about here. legal action? For what? you are being delusional.

<<I would be seriously concerned only if I were masquerading under more than one name and I were worried about having my true identity disclosed.>>

No worries here mate.

<<Then libelous remarks might prove problematic.>>

You are the one making libelous remarks. Suggesting, no inferring that I am Gloop, which I am not.

<<Do you know what I am getting at? >>

Spell it out for me. You are the one who is so certain. Don't beat around the bush. Out with it.

<<Since objecting to your praise of rats>>

Please. You brought up rats in the first place. Suggesting that I should remove the photo from my profile.

<<But don't you think it was a little extreme on your part to react so defensively? Do you think that another bubonic plague could not happen? If so you are wrong>>>

I never said anything of the sorts. But you fail to mention the benefits of rats. While I have an amount of distain for labratory ratting them, it has proven very beneficial to mankind. Look at the desieses we have found cures for using rats. While I have no statics readily at hand, I will go out on a limb and say rats have saved more lives than they have taken.

<<Did you see that guy who accused me of attempting to speak against God's design because I criticized your ennoblement of the rat?>>

I missed that one. But I did gather from your messages to me that you were holding me in contempt for having a photo of a rat in my profile. That was so stupid, I had to laugh.

<<<I backed right off just as soon as you and your friends started using compelling arguments like that>>

You backed off because you were banned for being idiotic and taking away from the threads integrity. If you have a beef with anyone there, you can see we all post here from time to time #reply-subjectid=50550 It's unmoderated, and where we try to take OT posts. Feel free to stop by any time.

<<I'm not invested in how you do or do not regard the rat so I am not going to let that be used against me by you and your fraternity brothers again. >>

Than why did you feel the compeltion to ask me to remove it from my profile?

<<It's really counter-productive to stifle free speech, no matter how unpopular,>>

I have no problem with free speech. The problem I had was you trying to muddy the thread with stupid OT posts. Even after I politely and humorusly responded to your posts, you persisted in being moronic over there. It is a stock talk thread. Yes, some times we digress, but you have brought nothing to the table as far as stocks or market in gneral so your digression was met by others as disruptive.

<<If I disappear, what are you going to do for fun then? >>

John, if you disappear, you will be the only one to lose. I have managed to do okay on SI for the better part of four years before our paths crossed. While I always welcome new friendships, I do not need yours. If that is in fact what you are trying to offer. If so, pretty twisted way of trying to gain new friends.

<<My discussion of rats seems to have sparked a whole new discussion topic amongst your enlightened friends. >>

Yeah, that's because everyone is goofing on you. You are the one who seems obsessed with ridding the world of rats. So we goofed on it.

P.S> I will no longer respond on this thread OT posts. It detures from the integrity of the thread. If you want to discuss OT stuff, let's take it to the coffee shop. If you can't find an appropriate thread to meet me on, we can start our own subject for gibberish. But I have to tell you I do not discuss religion or politics in public. It seems too senseless to me. Al complete waste of time because no one is going to change my mind and I do not expect to change anyone elses mind.

Would appreciate some indication from the weather vein as to which way the wind is blowing in this vs. other opportunities in electronic commerce. The reports I am getting on the weather channel are a little confusing.
