BTW: I do not force my views on anyone.....but if I did they would not come from science.....I am afraid that they would be more from a biblical standpoint.....(end of MY conversation on this subject)

No excuses from this guy Jill. I think this whole mess is far more complex than anyone wants to believe though. I believe we are affecting global climate with our pollution. I also believe that global climate also changes due to other changes that has nothing to do with our direct involvement. It's also possible that some of man's changes to the environment might be offset by how mother nature reacts to the changes we have forced upon her........ but we cannot rely on mother nature to continue to absorb our harmful input without paying a steep price....... sooner or later.

I believe you have the right idea & should stand up for it. I think we need to act globally to make serious changes while trying to do so without breaking the economy's back.

I don't know of any solutions that I can stand up for that would truly work right now, so it's hard for me to strongly support something just so I might feel good that we are taking some affirmative action. We need solutions that genuinely work on a global scale. We need to spend more on R&D with gov't help to create economically sound practices & inventions that will have a real impact IMO.

Sorry I didn't chime in sooner, but I don't have any real answers, just real concerns.
