Rather than the traditional introvertism and extrovertism, i think it I & E relate to where a person derives their energies from.

Some people find relaxing easier with friend and family. Others prefer relaxing alone....

I need my 2 hours alone. If I don't get at least those, it drives me crazy. I could live in a cave on a mountain top and never miss human company, i love quiet....and after the solitude, I am recharged....and when with people, am decisively an E, lot of noise, can't keep shut !!! LOL. But I hae been classified as an I.

On the other hand, my husband is a very quiet person, but he needs at least 2 hours of socialising every day. He needs people around him, needs noise....the thought of living on a 50 acre property fills me with infinite happiness, it horrifies him...he needs people, friends, grocery shops and noise around !!!! So he has been classified as E.

Usually an introvert in the beginning. I also have to have alone time to recharge.

I scored near the extreme end of each category.
