A true slice of Americana. I'm still bummed about his passing. To this day it's almost shocking to see a program like All in the Family on the air. What the tribune said is so true in the sense that he showed us the true ignorance in that type of behavior. The shocking part is that there were enough people that realized it was a true spoof on the bigot. Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intellect of the American people which is why it's so ironic this show was accepted.
