The best thing that could ever happen to the Democrats would be to have the Repubs follow the strategy you suggest....tell em to toss in your war talk and they would become nothing but a fringe party.... Why don't you send in your suggestions to the party leaders.....

The Republican party in the Senate has to clean up their act and purge the rest of their liberal wing.

The sooner the Republicans act on this advice, the sooner they will become a permanent minority party. Take a look at England's Tories and see what happens to a party when it loses control of the center.

As a Democrat, of course, I hope they take your advice.
