Actually, onions and beans seem to have far more impact upon my own personal production of greenhouse gases, than does a tasty Porterhouse, or plate of delicious Calamari.

And I don't know of too many methane blasting Bovines that are carnivorous.

And those prolific little methane producers known as termites, strictly have a diet of wood products.

And in S. American and Asia, some scientists are advocating the use of water hyacinths to produce methane as a bio-mass fuel.

So much for the Vegan argument...
