Hi. Followed the instructions at the IE Repair Tool link, and when I got to the Add/Remove, the options offered were

~Add a component

~Repair Internet Explorer

~Restore the previous Windows configuration.

But the second was bleached out, so couldn't be selected.

Maybe it means nothing is wrong? When I run scandisk it always says everything's fine. And defrag is a thrill, it takes about 4 minutes.

It does also say at that link:

The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 for Windows 95
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 for Windows 98
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 for Windows NT 3.51
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 for Windows NT 4.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 for Windows 2000

so possibly it doesn't apply to ME? -- though mostly things seem to apply to ME even if it's not mentioned....
