SM: roughly, you are correct. And the first 2 years post crash are typically the best time other than the upside of a bubble, in the latter half century. But energy prices and other world events must be monitored, too. Sometimes, war is a profitable recovery vehicle... ya never know what ethical considerations come into play... but I sure hope we get off the dime with alternative energy to free us from the risk of oil shocks. Remember how the markets trembled during the last two terrorist thingies in the Middle East? And Friday's was not even an attack, just an unspecified threat!
