And let the oil companies, polluters, soft money hogs and retro anti-progressives ruin all the progress we've made? No way. The majority of Americans will fight this climactic corruption and try to clean up the political system so that people are really represented, not just fat cat donors looking to bend the rules and rip us all off. Nothing to do with "liberal", it's all about corruption. I can respect an honest conservative but not someone who lies, tells the people he's for their interests then servuices only the special interests. for instance, almost every Bush appointee to sensitive environmental regulatory positions is a ex-lobbyist for the very industries those regulatory bodies are there to protect us from. This is the height of political corruption because you know every one of those industries (oil, timber, mining, pesticides, etc) bought their way in and now are like foxes in charge of the chicken coop. Who gains? Only fat cat contributors. Who loses? Everyone else including you. That is why moderate Republicans are starting to bolt the party. They are disgusted by this blatant corruption, by the lies being used to try and cover it up and by the insensitivity to our environment, working class people and the principals on which this country was built, meaning a government for the people by the people and not just for big fat cat pollutors. This has nothing to do with liberal vs. conservative anymore. A good conservative wouldn't stand for this blatant corruption wihch undermines the moral stature of our good nation.
