<<The task is to ramp up production capability at NI and then get an order like this! I believe that Stephan will make this happen>>

Well it looks like he's got his work cut out for him. Gross margin declined substantially last quarter. Cost of goods sold doubled on a decline in product sales. Which suggests to me that yields plummeted. Is there any reason to believe that Godevais has any unique knowledge or skills to solve the ubiquitous problems of mass production, or is your belief simply based on faith?

Robert,

Quanta, Dell's main supplier for notebook computers is also a partner in a JV in Taiwan. The JV is UTI (Ultralife Taiwan). UTI is owned in part by Quanta, additional Taiwanese Partners and Ultralife Batteries (41%).

There are two battery factories involved, both of which are located at Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park, Taiwan. One is completed and producing and the second has been under construction for awhile. These are high capacity factories.

Regards,

Webilot

Short interest on VLNC reported for June 15th now stands at 6,387,465 shares. This is down about one-half million shares from last month and represents 13.55 days to cover. Looks like we are indeed standing still awaiting further news.
