Dave, Yes, the Scouts are a great organization and my son is a great kid. He's been studying math on his own since school let out. I couldn't believe it when he took his math notebook with him for the trip. I love my Pointer, best dog I've ever had. Trivialities mean very little to me regarding the people I respect. You were right on about schools. My wife retired this year from teaching, 32 years in Special Ed. We had a great party today at a beach cottage in Crystal Cove, just north of Laguna Beach that belongs to the family of her best friend from college. The places sit on stilts right at the edge of the surfline with steep cliffs surrounding the entire Cove. The weather was perfect and all the people that mattered were there. Hard to beat this part of California. We left at sunset, thinking of taking a cruise to Alaska. A wonderful day and she deserved it.
