I listened to O'neill on radio as Sam Donaldson grilled him for 15 minutes. I'm sorry to say he is no match for Rubin. This guy talks like a small college economics teacher not an erudite treasury secretary. Donaldson made mincemeat out of him and his answers were evasive and nonintellectual...................Paul H. O'Neill was sworn in as the 72nd Secretary of the Treasury on January 20, 2001.

O'Neill was chairman and CEO of Alcoa from 1987 to 1999, and retired as chairman at the end of 2000. Prior to joining Alcoa, O'Neill was president of International Paper Company from 1985 to 1987, where he was vice president from 1977 to 1985. HE SHOULD HAVE RETIRED COMPLETELY BECAUSE HE IS OVER HIS HEAD.

Rubin is responsible for helping to lead us into this recession.

It has been coming on for over a year, and he was the Sec. Of the Treas. at the time...He has to accept part of the blame along with Greenspan.
