Well, many years since the first post, and the company hasn't done well in the interim. Overexpansion and trends going away from "mountain man" fashions have hurt. Stock just took a dive this week because of poor earnings but also TBL announced they are closing some stores. Actually, this would be a good company for a turnaround. The products are excellent. In fact, the shoes they make are far better than competitors that have degraded in quality since off-shoring their products. Prices remain reasonable. They need to improve marketing and that means eliminating channels that aren't working. But they are already doing this, so they are in a position to do well again if they can reinvigorate the brand cache. Or, having cleaned up, they would be a good takeover target.
