Excuse me? She took an oath to uphold the constitution. And since the pledge of allegiance explicitly states "and to the REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS", and by default, the US Constitution which is the legal authority for the existence of said republic, she is, by default, refusing to honor the constitution (which at its writing did not permit blacks to vote, and counted slaves as 3/5th of a man with regard to determining proportional representation in congress). So by refusing to honor the flag, which is a symbol for the constitution and our entire form of government, she has violated her oath to uphold that constitution, and the republic created upon that constitution, and which the flag is a representative. I continue to suggest that she emigrate to Liberia, where the constitution and flag represented the interests of blacks from the day of its founding. (at least the interests of freed blacks). And I sent her an email to that effect. In fact, I told here I would even pay for her one way ticket there, upon signing an agreement to never again set foot upon the "oppressive shores" of the United States. Hawk
