It's reassuring that market makers felt inclined to "support the 11.50 deal," as you say (especially since that's what Banknorth said it will pay for the shares).

Based on your white knight theory, maybe they'll push it up to $24. Or, based on the idea that it's worth many times more than the price at the IPO, maybe the market makers will push it up to $145 a share.

"Your need to prove yourself right is your problem ..."

I'm also prone to emotional and intellectual deterioration, and splitting of the personality, changeable delusions, introversion, indifference, inaccessibility, involutional melancholia, senile psychoses, lack of insight, disappearance of voluntary activity, negativism and suggestibility. During periods of stress (when the market is volatile, for example), I experience disturbances in the vasomotor and cardiac functions.

Can you provide any on-line help with these? I'm on a tight budget, but any counseling would be appreciated. Perhaps we could meet in this forum once a week at 6 a.m., before the market opens.
