Ah! The drama continues, two seemingly unrelated pieces hitting my radar screen today. Old timer
Homestake Mining is being taken out by hedger American Barrick. Poof go the hopes for substantial
profits for those poor suckers holding HM last Friday, except for the 30% premium it appears to be dropping by chance into their laps...so much for the double your money idea on that! gold producer...and...now...
as everybody should know anyway we have clarion clear and blaring proof even Warren Buffett must
tread carefully in this marked. His touted entry into troubled US Gypsum, a large percentage but I do not
remember the figure, temporarily gave the stock a big bounce few months back but it is declaring
Chapter 11 today. Unless I am mistaken, Mr Buffett, who took a position in common stock, is gonna
take it on the chin like all other investors in common stock. I hear it again and again in my slumbers
and in the evening as I try to drift off to sleep wondering what the Monday market will bring...careful,
careful, careful, and don't be cocky

<< OK SMART ASS WHAT ARE THE MARKET CAPS OF THESE COMPANIES TODAY?>>

Gee whiz pal, keep your shirt on. I never said that with enough monkeys throwin enough darts one of'em wouldn't hit something ! Every one makes stock market predictions.

As far as CSCO and the rest I never owned’em.....Missed'em on the way up wouldn't touch’em onna way down or now for that matter.

<<from your dimwitted post
>>>Ahh, the arrogance of academia...Although outta their league they continue to apply science to what is an art.......Random walk ..........LOL<<< >>

Dimwitted?...I don't think so..
Arrogance is pronouncing in a public forum that "stocks have hit a permanently high ..." Arrogance is going to the FED and telling them what to do.. Arrogance is telling thousands of successful traders that stock price movements are "random walk" .

<< So pezz you owe Mr.Siegal a big SORRY and a smooch of his ass>>

Considering how much I ruffled your feathers I suspect you are a member of academia your self......But that’s your problem.. Since I never commented on your hero . I owe neither him nor your self Butkis!
