Little doubt that the XAU will go much higher at some point, but the short-term outlook is clouded by plunging lease rates. Down sharply across the board again today with the 1-year finally breaching 2% and the 1-month down to 1.5%. Big gold rally VERY UNLIKELY until lease rates trough.
