Canabrava renews exploration efforts in Brazil Canabrava Diamond Corp CNB Shares issued 38,070,506 2001-06-28 close $0.21 Friday Jun 29 2001 News Release Also SouthernEra Resources Ltd (SUF) Mr. George Plewes reports Canabrava Diamond has renewed its exploration efforts in Brazil following the withdrawal by SouthernEra Resources from its option to earn into the company's 100-per-cent-owned Canabrava project. The Canabrava project is focused on exploring for the primary source of the diamonds occurring in the rivers in the Coromandel-Patos de Minas region of Minas Gerais state. SouthernEra's action is in response to budgetary constraints and does not reflect on the technical merits of the project. Canabrava intends to pursue a new partner in order to test an exciting exploration model that has been developed over the past two years.
