I don't think you're wrong regarding gold stocks.Daily XAU strong sell signal.Weekly MACD crossing to downside.I added to my short position this AM.Been looking for longs and finding nada but shorts.GTW nearing an important PnF number of 14.5 Chart is so ugly maybe it's a buy but I doubt I'll go long it.Print of 14 I'll probably short it.

Don. Maybe we'll both be wrong.<g>

But, I've been taking profits on recent gold stock positions and increasing portfolio cash reserves.

Didn't agree with the thread's bearishness on the PM equities after the sharp initial down draft from the top. Continued to hold a few positions and repurchased several others on subsequent dips. Have now closed out 4 out of 6 profitably during the past 15 trading days.

Took advantage of todays news driven rally to to exit KGC @ .87 late today (bot near cls Thurs @ .80). 3rd profitable trade on that on in a month. So feel I'm getting a good sense of the tape on that one.

Also sold MDG today for a pretty poor 4% net gain on a 4 wk hold (didn't time the entry on that one very well).

Will continue to trade the swings in individual PM stocks where I can identify good entry and exit opportunities. Some follow the indices fairly closely. Others definitely swing to their own beat.

Regards,

Isopatch
