I am saying buy good companies at a good price. Which requires that you come up with a definition of "good price".

Once you have this definition, it is not a large leap to ask "what about selling good companies at an even better price"?

Which seems to have really really really confused people.

I am actually advocating selling not merely because I think the price will go down irrespective of value, but because I think the price is more than it's worth on an absolute basis over the long term. Big Big Big difference.

And those fans of buffetology will note that buying a whole company significantly lowers the possibility that it becomes randomly overpriced thereafter.
