Re: ITanium is ready NOW !!! Get real, no windows and beta versions of a few programs. Or were you expecting corporations to pay Itanic prices for a machine that runs their existing installed base almost as fast a Pentium classic 166? There's no software for Itanic - why do you think Alpha tanked? Alpha was a much better chip, but, like Itanic, had very little software to run. Got it? Lesson learned? AMD learned it, that's why their 64 bit chip doesn't need new software - too bad Intel seems to have missed class.
