Like all conservatives, I look at Hispanics as a demographic group that shares the American dream. Liberals look at them like they look at blacks and other demographic groups: a vehicle for votes, whose "leaders" can be bribed to keep them in line.

No slave owner was more prejudiced against blacks than the typical American liberal. In fact, those slave owners would have been shocked and disgusted...
