Scumbria... As I've said before, you seem to have done a 180. The Anandtech article was interesting. I read it when it first came out. I hope, as you have said, "RDRAM will win the bulk of the PC desktop market next year." My fingers are crossed and I have garlic hanging on my homes entrance doors!! Any other suggestions that might help would be appreciated?

scumbria, 25% faster equates to < 1% increase overall performance as the end user views it. the end user pays the bills. that means that the breakeven point is about $10. folks will reasonably and rationally pay about $10 more for a box thaat provides < 1% in benefits.

i don't see it happening.
