Yes, energy looks toppy to me also, but is that good for techs, if you compare the osx, the sox, and the ndx run pretty good together -g-

during the osx capitulation during late 98/early 99 i brought to the attention of this thread the massive volume in GLM after a long term downtrend, an integral component of osx, if i remember correctly that was the bottom or at least very close.

could compare that to the massive volume in exds this last week, but are there more of these climactic volume sell-offs out there, the osx bubble of 97 is puny compared to the internet bubble of 99-00.

i think your characterization of tech as underowned, is not substantiated by the rydex ratios, nor are the people on these threads all running to buy utility stocks, homebuilders or banks.
