Yep. Small gold speculators are long a bunch of gold calls, while commercials shorted futures. Looks like a final washout for POG is coming

only if we BK, and even then they won't be toasted near as much. it's a low probability event on which i'm prepared to bet some put money, so i'll be more than compensated if it should happen. but absent a BK, the gold stocks are very much able to go their own way...they have done so in BOTH secular bears of the past century, regardless of whether in- or deflation accompanied the broad market collapse.
