Sure, I'll admit the issue raised my eyebrows when I heard about it. I don't know the details on this issue, but SF has 11 supervisors which represent different districts of the city. Sure there might be better uses of the money, but the incidence of transgender dysphoria in the general population is about 1:30,000. So what are the chances that more than two city employees have it. It may be that the entire resolution was for the benefit of a single employee. And you know nothing of the case.
