Hi Wstera,

Hope the repairs aren't expensive & you get it back soon.

Thanks, but it surpassed my 1% of the boat value deductible already.

Getting it back soon, is the real kicker for us. We just became kiddless. My son has graduated, and is off conquering the world.....and my daughter is in Oklahoma visiting her grandma for 2 months.

We were really looking forward to some kiddless time on our boat.

Then this.....Ahhhhhh!

My wife was pleading with the boatyard mechanics. <g>

Oh well, as what happens to a lot of our friends on the river, we will become "boat whores" for awhile. That's our term of endearment, for anybody stuck without their boat for awhile. Theirs always room on somebody's boat, so we won't miss any of the fun. <g>

but I've seen & towed others back to the dock who weren't.

Good Job! I have towed many a boat. I've been towed several times too. Not for quite awhile, but theres not much worse, then being stuck out on the water, with no one around to help.

:0)
