I've been involved with trying to protect the Escalante since 1973. Clinton's declaration of National Park status was the
culmination of a long hard fought battle.

Perhaps this colors your views just as the Brady Law, and other past federal gun legislation colors the view of 2nd Amendment believers towards their tormenters.;)
