Hi Bill Jackson; Re: "... he walks along the path and sees an Rambusant nest."

Yeah, I pick on Rambus cause they're defenseless. Lately they've been complaining that I dominate this thread, but the truth is that they don't try to reply to my factual posts.

And what are they going to say about the Fortune magazine, anyway? That the writer at Fortune didn't understand Rambus' ethics? That his editor was too stupid to see that Rambus was the saint? That Fortune's lawyers didn't check the article for slander?

The sad fact is that Rambus got nailed in a court of law and now they have to live with their name. The lack of ethics in this company are obvious to disinterested observers.

Rambus' business is fine for now, and would be better if they'd not gotten involved in the patent quagmire. But their technology is getting designed out due to high costs at just about every high tech company. The last thing a company wants to be is the world's only user of a niche memory technology. It's like walking around with a "beat me" sign at a memory maker's convention.
