Tuesday June 26, 9:14 am Eastern Time Noranda to list on the New York Stock Exchange biz.yahoo.com TORONTO, June 26 (Reuters) - Canadian metals and mining company Noranda Inc. (Toronto:NOR.TO - news) said on Tuesday its shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange pushing the storied company into the worldwide spotlight. The Toronto-based company, one of the world's largest producers of zinc and nickel, said its shares will begin trading on the Big Board on Wednesday. The company also said its trading symbol on the Toronto Stock Exchange will be changed to ``NRD'' to maintain consistency between the two exchanges. ($1 equals $1.52 Canadian)
