11:39 ET eBay (EBAY) 68.51 -2.53 (-3.5%): -- Technical -- Trading pace picks up as stock pushes to a new session low. Intraday indicators are weakening and dailies potentially topping out. Short term takes rebound back through 69.50/69.80 to neutralize. Next support on failure is at 68/67.50 with more important floor at 66.50/66.30 (May/June range top).

10:36 ET Genzyme (GENZ) 54.18 +1.66 (+3.2%): Hearing from Merrill Lynch that firm raising estimates after GENZ announced preliminary results of a clinical study using Renagel to prevent coronary calcification and cardiac events. Firm thinks the data were impressive; raising Renagel sales estimates to reflect strong results: '01 to $150 mln from $140 mln; '02 to $250 mln from $205 mln; '03 to $357 mln from $293 mln; '04 to $500 mln from $410 mln. Increases 5-yr growth rate to 22% from 20%.
