What is more evil than what Bush is trying to do?
Lying on campaign trail. Allowing his energy cronies to rip off hundreds of billions. Fighting for more pollution. Trying to give "churches" government social program money. Appointing lobbyists to police their own industries (as if they will). And in a recession where so many are unemployed and hurting giving a big chunk of our surplus to the very rich? "Smaller government" to him means looting everyone below the top income bracket, depriving them of safety nets, not letting them sue if they're poisoned or killed by some faulty product or pollution, basically giving the little guy nothing and suggesting he use his measly tax break to pay Bush cronies for the higher energy prices. Boy, what a big scam on the American People. Not only that but the tactics in Florida which put him into office were as questionable as the promises he made on the campaign trail which got people to consider him a compassionate moderate. Bullshit almost all of it. All politicians have to exaggerate and lie but this guy takes the cake. I don't remember any politician in my life who has shown himself as no dishonest and callous. At least Reagan told us he was going to unleash the pigs to the trough. Bush promised to protect us and instead tries to make victims of us. He will pay next elections. And meanwhile he earns very little respect around the world. Maybe fear that he might do something needlessly destructive but not respect. That I'm afraid he will never earn. Bottomline because he's not qualified to be where he is to begin with and he's a bought and paid for front man of all the dirty anti-safety and consumer industry groups.
