Not really. What it is saying here is that the P4 is stealing sales from the PIII. In the PCB section, it mentioned that total motherboard sales were down, but the P4 motherboard sales took a significant increase. Considering those sales were pretty close to zero, that doesn't mean a whole lot. Now the 4 major manufacturers are carrying inventory of SocketA boards, but it looks as if sales for the PIII/Celeron have fallen off a cliff, especially when you factor in the reports of AMD gaining more market share during this quarter.
